Booking & Logistics

We recommend booking 12–18 months in advance, especially for spring and fall dates (September–November and March–June are our busiest seasons). That said, contact us regardless — we occasionally have openings closer to your date.

We are based in the Greater Boston area and serve all of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, and Vermont. We are also available for destination events — including Israel — with a travel fee. Please ask.

First, we have a free consultation by phone or Zoom. If we're a good fit, we send a contract and collect a retainer to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event. Simple and transparent — no surprises.

Yes. We are very experienced with Shabbat morning B'nei Mitzvah services and are deeply familiar with the photography protocols of different congregations — including those with no-photography rules during certain portions of the service. We always confirm synagogue guidelines well in advance and respect them fully.

Photography & Coverage

The Signature and Heirloom packages include a professional second shooter. The Essential package uses one lead photographer. With two shooters, we can cover the b'nei mitzvah child and their parents simultaneously during key moments — something we highly recommend for complex, multi-location days.

We ask that you provide a "must-have" list of family groupings in advance. During the event, we move through portraits efficiently and warmly — our goal is 45 minutes or less so you can get to your party. Stephen is experienced at organizing large, multigenerational families without chaos.

We describe our style as timeless, warm, and true-to-life. We are not heavy on filters or trendy presets. The goal is that your photos look as beautiful in 30 years as they do today. We edit every image delivered — no unedited RAW files are included.

This varies by package length and the flow of your day. You can typically expect 400–700+ fully edited images for a full-day event with two photographers. We never artificially limit your gallery — every strong image is included.

Delivery & Products

Your online proofing gallery is delivered within 6 weeks of your event. All Signature and Heirloom packages include a sneak peek gallery of select images within 1 week. Rush delivery (48-hour sneak peek) is available as an add-on.

Yes. Your online gallery includes a professional print store where you can order anything from 4×6 prints to large canvas art, directly shipped to your home. All products are lab-quality, archival prints — not drugstore prints.

Our albums are lay-flat, museum-quality books designed and printed in the USA. We design them for you and present a proof for your approval before printing. These are heirloom objects — the kind that sit on a coffee table and get opened at every family gathering for decades.
